Experience:
• 2 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.
• 12 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with any experience within the last 36 months (3 years).
• 3 months of Cerner experience is preferred.
• 12 months of acute care experience.
Requirements:
• Candidates must have a Indiana license or compact license (required for submission).
• This role may require floating to additional units and locations
• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.
• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.
• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.
• Anyone who worked as Staff at a facility in this program in the last 12 months cannot be submitted.
• Anyone currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:
Required Skills/Experience: In addition to meeting the unit experience requirements, your work experience needs to reflect at least 12 months (1 year) of uninterrupted experience working in the same unit/specialty you’re applying to. Keen neuro assessment skills and drain management are required.
Special Requests: Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit. If multiple shifts are posted, only apply to your preferred shift. Up to 1 week of pre-approved RTO can be accommodated. Block scheduling is accepted as long as it accommodates every other weekend.
Unit Details: The unit has higher medical-surgical acuity, including post-op spinal surgeries, Level 2 trauma patients, and Level 1 trauma post-ICU care. The unit also cares for stroke patients and patients with diagnoses such as DKA and renal failure, along with providing general post-op care.
Shift & Scheduling: Shift options are day shifts (7A-7P) and night shifts (7P-7A), with every other weekend required. Flexible contract hours: 72 or 96 bi-weekly are options. No call.
Floating Requirements: Floating to any other medical-surgical or telemetry units is required.

• AUTO OFFER - NO INTERVIEW: This is an auto-offer position. You will likely not interview with the facility prior to receiving an offer. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment. Any offers for this job will require a clear “Yes” or “No” response from the nurse within 24hrs or the offer must be declined.
