Full job description
Company in Kentwood, MI seeking Maintenance Technician.
Shift: Monday-Thursday 2:00pm-12:30am
Pay: $30/hr.
This position will be responsible for installation/maintenance of all production equipment. Performing preventive maintenance on various machines in the headers, rollers, cleaners and all related areas.
*Responsibilities
· Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment and machinery in, and used by the company including, but not limited to, checking oil, lubricating, changing filters, cleaning of such machines and equipment,
· Maintain accurate records of work
· Properly report problems and concerns about machines and equipment to appropriate people and departments, such as machine repair
· Generally, keep machines and equipment in clean and neat appearance
· Operate oil reclaimer to separate clean oil for reuse
· Do hook-ups to all production equipment such as transformer, heading machine, rolling machine, heat treatment machine, pipelines etc.
· Trouble shooting and problem solving to all production machines.
Requirements:
· Ability to read gages and interpret gage results
· Possess current Hilo license, or qualify to obtain it
· Ability to understand functional aspects of machines
· Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
· Well organized and able to work with minimum supervision
