Your Job: The Sous-Chef oversees the operation of kitchen personnel while maintaining a safe and sanitary work environment. Prepares meals in accordance with recipes and company quality standards. Your Job Requirements: • Minimum of 2 Year experience as a Sous Chef in restaurant/institutional establishments preferred or 2+ years as an Executive Sous Chef in a high volume atmosphere. • Serv Safe Certified or Certified Dietary Manager Preferred • Able to read, write and speak English • Able to learn and apply infection control guidelines • Able to learn and apply food safety/handling standards • Able to learn and apply knowledge of therapeutic diets and food consistency modifications • Able to learn and apply basic mathematic skills to convert weights and measures Your Job Responsibilities: • High School Graduate or equivalent required • Ability to communicate effectively, orally, and in writing with various levels of staff Your Job Responsibilities: • Communicate clearly and openly • Build relationships to promote a collaborative environment • Be accountable for your performance • Always look for ways to improve the patient experience • Take initiative for your professional growth • Be engaged and eager to build a winning team
