Full job description
We are seeking a Pulmonary Critical Care physician for a private, pulmonary & critical care group practice established in 1977 consisting of twenty (20) board certified physicians and multiple advanced practice providers. We have six (6) offices with two (2) sleep centers.
Details include:
- Join office with a staff of seven (7) pulmonary & critical care physicians and ten (10) advanced practice providers (two (2) office-based and eight (8) hospital-based)
- Practice mixture is approximately 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient medicine
- On-site intensivist services are provided 24/7
- Structured monthly schedule includes twenty (20) shifts:
- Seven (7) daytime ICU shifts
- Five (5) to six (6) night shifts: (On-site; From 5pm to 8am starting with calls/new consults until midnight at which time our highly-trained/experienced APPs take over allowing physician 5-6 hours of sleep);
- Five (5) to six (6) daytime hospital shifts
- Four (4), half days of pulmonary clinic (one half day a week)
- Additional hospital shifts are available if so desired
- Opportunity for advanced bronchoscopy including navigational Intuitive Ion Robotic-assisted bronchoscopy
- Opportunity to practice sleep medicine for interested candidates
