Ongoing assignment -- ASAP start
10 - 15 patients seen per 24-hour call shift
Inpatient hospital setting
Minimum of two APCs required per weekday
1 MD practice -- over 100 heart surgeries per year
Beeper call -- 1:3 ratio, 24-hour shifts (7 am - 7 am)
30-minute call response time required
Cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgery patient population

Ranges shown should be used as an estimate and are affected by many factors including the critical need of the position, your overall experience and qualifications, and other considerations.
