Overview:

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital located in Virginia Beach, Virginia is hiring a Travel Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department!

 

Travel Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department

Sentara Virginia Beach General Hospital – Virginia Beach, VA

Schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 7pm-7am

 

• $75.00/hr pay rate
• Temporary Full Time
• 14-week assignment
• Night shift
• No benefits

 

Department/Unit Overview: 

This is a 41-bed Level III Trauma ED with 6 beds dedicated to a lock down psychiatric screening and treatment area.   We are a stroke certified ED and receive STEMI and psychiatric patients.  The ED treats about 150 patients per day with a dedicated radiology suite in the ED for plain film and CT imaging. We have a diverse nursing and ED Tech team.

 

Education

• Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required

 

Certification/Licensure

• Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• ACLS
• PALS
• NIH Stroke Scale

 

Experience

• Must have two or more years of current acute care hospital ER RN experience.
