Laboratory Production Technician

<p align="center"><b>We bring you tomorrow's opportunity, today</b></p> <p> </p> <p>Volt is immediately hiring for a <b>Laboratory Production Technician </b>in <b>North Kingstown, RI 02852.</b></p> <p> </p> <p>As a <b>Laboratory Production Technician, </b>you will:</p> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Perform bulk filling, dispensing, transferring, and packaging of chemical products.</li> <li>Verify materials, lot numbers, labels, quantities, and expiration dates for product traceability.</li> <li>Set up, operate, and monitor automated, robotic, and packaging equipment.</li> <li>Package and label products according to established specifications.</li> <li>Complete batch records, production documentation, and inventory transactions accurately.</li> <li>Conduct visual inspections and report quality concerns, spills, deviations, or discrepancies.</li> <li>Maintain clean, organized, and inspection-ready laboratory and production areas.</li> <li>Clean and sanitize equipment, tools, containers, and work surfaces.</li> <li>Handle and dispose of chemical waste according to safety and environmental guidelines.</li> <li>Follow chemical hygiene, PPE, hazard communication, and spill-response procedures.</li> <li>Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).</li> <li>Support inventory control, cycle counts, material staging, and supply replenishment.</li> <li>Collaborate with Production, Quality, Warehouse, Laboratory, and EHS teams.</li> <li>Identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>This is a <b>full time, contract</b> opportunity.</p> <p> </p> <p>The ideal candidate will have:</p> <p><b>Required Skills:</b></p> <ul> <li>Chemical handling experience</li> <li>Experience operating <b>automated or robotic manufacturing equipment</b></li> <li>Kit packaging and ampoule assembly experience</li> <li>Familiarity with production filling, packaging, or manufacturing operations</li> <li>Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy</li> </ul> <p><b>Qualifications:</b></p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or GED required</li> <li>Experience in chemical manufacturing, laboratory operations, pharmaceutical manufacturing, production filling, packaging, or regulated manufacturing environments</li> <li>Knowledge of GMP, GLP, batch record documentation, and chemical waste handling procedures</li> <li>Experience using ERP, production tracking, or inventory management systems</li> <li>Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety protocols</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b>Pay Rate:<i> $22.00 - $23.54 per hour.</i></b></p> <p> </p> <p>*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.</p> <p> </p> <p>Qualified candidates should <b>APPLY NOW </b>for immediate consideration!
