Palo Alto Medical Foundation is seeking an experienced and compassionate Physical Therapist to join our collaborative outpatient rehabilitation team.In this role, you will evaluate, develop, and deliver individualized treatment plans that help patients restore mobility, reduce pain, improve function, and achieve their personal goals. We are particularly interested in clinicians with a strong orthopedic background, ideally with 5+ years of orthopedic experience and/or advanced certifications such as OCS, COMT, or SCS. Experience in women's health or pelvic floor therapy is a plus.
As part of our patient-centered team, you will collaborate with physicians and rehabilitation professionals to provide exceptional care while mentoring assistants, aides, and students. We are seeking a flexible therapist with availability across multiple weekdays to help meet the growing needs of our patient population.
What You'll Bring:
Strong orthopedic clinical expertise with outpatient experience preferred
Advanced orthopedic or sports certifications (OCS, COMT, SCS) highly desirable
Women's health/pelvic floor experience is a plus

Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program
OR graduate of an accredited physical therapy program that can be demonstrated with a valid PT license
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
PT-Physical Therapist
OR Will also consider approved license applicant or resident training program employee.
BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider
DEPARTMENT-SPECIFIC CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
Department: Home Health, DL-Valid Drivers License Class C
Department: Home Health, AUTO-Automobile Insurance
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
2 years of recent relevant experience
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
Critical thinking, complex problems solving, decisive judgement and ability to work independently.
Knowledge and application of professional practice and regulatory requirements.
Must be able to work in demanding work environment, organize multiple priorities completing work duties within expected timelines and requirements.
Computer and required technology proficiency/competencies.
Demonstrates effective and efficient professional communication (verbal & written) skills as well as interpersonal skills, conflict resolution, teamwork/collaboration, customer service and community relations abilities.
Able to retain and apply new knowledge & skills.
Keeps abreast of professional practice development and advancement.
