In this critical role, you will collaborate closely with licensed Physical Therapists to provide evidence-based rehabilitation to patients recovering from a variety of conditions, particularly orthopedic injuries and post-surgical procedures. Work Environment
This full-time position is based in a bustling hospital setting fully equipped with state-of-the-art rehabilitation facilities. You will work from Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, supporting a diverse population of patients ranging from athletes recovering from sports injuries to elderly patients recovering from hip replacements. The environment is dynamic, supportive, and focused on delivering high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist licensed Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs and recovery goals.
- Provide hands-on support to patients through a variety of therapeutic modalities such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and mobility training to enhance recovery outcomes.
- Instruct patients on proper exercise techniques and ensure their safe usage of therapeutic equipment to promote effective rehabilitation.
- Regularly monitor and evaluate patient progress and relay changes to the supervising Physical Therapist to adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in our electronic health records (EHR) system to comply with professional standards and support continuity of care.
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients during therapy sessions, adhering to all safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with the entire clinical team, sharing insights and strategies to enhance patient care and achieve optimal outcomes.
- Conduct patient and family education on home exercise programs and recovery strategies to empower them in their rehabilitation journey.

Your role will impact a wide range of patient groups, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Qualifications
- Successful completion of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) program.

Compensation and Benefits
