Location: Menomonie, WI (Field-based, covering MN, WI, SD, ND and surrounding region)
Job Type: Full-time
Travel: Up to 25%
Pay: $26 to $50 per hour

Put your CNC troubleshooting skills to work installing and servicing precision machine tools for manufacturers across the Upper Midwest.

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of hands-on CNC machine repair or maintenance experience
• Experience with spindles, precision bearings, and rotating machinery
• Strong knowledge of CNC controls and basic electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics
• Advanced troubleshooting skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 25% across the territory
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

What You'll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain CNC machine tools and controls at customer sites
• Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
• Perform preventive maintenance and recommend performance improvements
• Solve complex problems using manuals, technical documentation, and vendor support
• Keep customers informed on equipment status, repairs, and next steps
• Complete accurate service and installation reports
• Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and suppliers
• Expand your CNC expertise through ongoing training and technical seminars

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience across multiple CNC control platforms and machine tool brands
• Background in field service or customer-facing technical roles

Compensation and Benefits

• $26 to $50 per hour, based on experience
