Facility: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit | Location: Wilmington, NC, Full-Time | Work Schedule: 7 p.m. - 7 a.m. What We're Looking For:
* Education : 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. If your RN nursing license has been inactive, retired or lapsed for five years or more and you have not been licensed in another state during the last five years, successful completion of a Board approved refresher course is required prior to reactivating or reinstating your license. In order to be considered for current licensure status, you must apply for reinstatement within one year of completing the refresher course.
* Experience : One year relevant experience, preferred.
* Licensure/Certification: Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.
What You'll Do:
* Provide specialized, patient-centered care to critically ill patients.
* Perform detailed assessments and recognize subtle changes in patient condition.
* Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and coordinate individualized plans of care.
* Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and participate in emergency and critical care interventions.
* Educate and support patients and families throughout the critical care experience.
* Maintain a safe environment while following evidence-based practices and patient safety standards.
