Anderson University’s Guest and Auxiliary Services invites applications for a full-time, 12-month position as Program and Scheduling Coordinator. The Program and Scheduling Coordinator plays a key role in supporting Anderson University’s conference, special programs, summer camps, and events. This position coordinates program logistics, develops timelines, maintains program records and documentation, and serves as a primary point of contact for program directors, conference organizers, campus partners, and external organizations. The Coordinator also manages year-round facility reservations and campus calendars through the University’s 25Live scheduling system, ensuring accurate scheduling, resolving conflicts, and maximizing the use of campus facilities. In addition, this role provides administrative and customer service support to the Guest Services department, assisting students, faculty, staff, conference guests, vendors, and external organizations. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service.
Knowledge equivalent to that gained through a bachelor’s degree and prior experience in event planning, conference or hospitality services, specifically in a university or college setting is preferred. Familiarity with 25Live or similar event scheduling software and proficiency with Microsoft Office are also preferred. Strong organizational, communication, leadership, problem-solving, and customer-service skills, along with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and a commitment to collaboration, excellence, and Anderson University’s Christ-centered mission and values is essential. Evening and weekend work based on event schedules is expected.
