What You'll Do
As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play an important role in ensuring residents receive safe, compassionate, and personalized care.
Responsibilities include:
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor residents' conditions and report changes to the healthcare team.
Accurately document nursing care and resident progress.
Assist with developing and implementing individualized care plans.
Provide skilled nursing care, including wound care and other treatments.
Supervise and support Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, residents, and family members.
Respond promptly to resident needs and emergency situations.
Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and facility regulations.
Promote a safe, respectful, and positive environment for residents and staff.
Qualifications
Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of employment.
Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing program.
Strong clinical and assessment skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Long-term care or skilled nursing experience is preferred but not required.
A genuine passion for providing outstanding resident care.
