Client Service Representative

Location: Jacksonville, FL

Worksite Arrangement: Hybrid, 3 days/week in-office

Salary: $42,500 base + quarterly merit bonus potential

Start date: October or Early November, ASAP

Avenica has partnered with our customer, a growing, energetic, and highly collaborative insurance brokerage, to hire a Client Service Representative to join their growing servicing team.

This is a service-focused role built on clear communication and strong collaboration. You’ll work with insurance agents, carriers, and internal teams to manage policy inquiries, service requests, and account updates.

There is no selling in this role. Your focus starts after the sale, making sure new and existing clients are set up for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison between retail agency clients and insurance companies, handling most post-binding activities once accounts are obtained by the brokerage team.
• Set up and maintain paperless files.
• Prepare tax filings.
• Process midterm policy changes, endorsements, and cancellations.
• Review policies and endorsements for accuracy.
• Log in new business as part of the Clearance Team.

What you Bring:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of professional office experience (insurance, financial services, legal, or similar), including external communication and documentation.
• Takes initiative and thrives both working independently or with a team.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with agents and carriers.
• Strong technical skills, including experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to obtain a Florida Producer License in Property and Casualty within six months of hire. Licensing and renewal costs covered by the company!
