Education
Required - Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
Preferred - Master’s degree in Nursing, Business, Healthcare Administration or related field
Work Experience
Required - 2 years experience in a clinical setting including one year Infection control experience
Certifications
Preferred - Certified Infection Control certification
Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)
Knowledge of basic biology
Strong organizational skills
Strong Communication skills
Delegation skills
Job Duties
Supports Infection Control program and policies.
Manages data, analysis and dissemination of Infection Control information.
Implements Infection Control education & training.
Maintains records and prepares reports.
Other related duties as required.
