Muscleworks Rehab & Physical Therapy Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will work closely with our licensed physical therapists to implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to the needs of our diverse patient population. Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our hospital-affiliated clinic, where you will collaborate with other health professionals, including occupational therapists, physicians, and administrative staff. The environment is fast-paced, offering a variety of cases that will keep you engaged and encourage professional growth. Our work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced lifestyle while providing top-notch care during your working hours.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist licensed physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
  • Deliver hands-on therapeutic services such as exercises, stretches, and manual therapy to facilitate recovery.
  • Educate patients about various therapeutic modalities and exercises to enhance their rehabilitation journey.
  • Regularly assess and monitor patient progress, documenting changes and adjusting treatment strategies under the supervision of therapists.
  • Effectively communicate with the healthcare team to coordinate comprehensive care across disciplines.
  • Utilize evidence-based techniques, including trigger point therapy, to improve patient outcomes.
  • Participate in health promotion activities and patient education sessions to support holistic care initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will have the opportunity to work with a wide range of patients, including children, adults, and seniors, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Our diverse case load includes those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain. This role is crucial in enabling patients to regain mobility, strength, and independence in their daily activities.

Qualifications

  • Must possess a Bachelor's Degree related to physical therapy.
  • Current and active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) state license required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Strong skills in various manual therapy techniques.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
