Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP)
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $106.70 - $115.50

This facility is seeking a Orthopedic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant(NP)for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.


Details and requirements for this opportunity:


  • Schedule: Weekday shifts 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM
  • Practice Setting: Inpatient hospital setting; no clinic work
  • Types of Cases: Orthopedic Trauma Surgery, fracture reductions, washouts, trauma consults, hospital coverage, post-operative visits, ED support, rounding, and assisting in the operating room. Average patient volume is 20 patients per day.
  • Credentialing Timeframe: Dependent on committee approval cycle
  • Electronic Medical Record (EMR): eClinicalWorks.
  • Certifications Required: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) (at least one required).
  • Licensure Required: Active South Carolina Physician Assistant License required; South Carolina Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration and South Carolina Controlled Substance (CDS) license required. Interstate Physician Compact Network (IPCN) considered for clean files.
