Job Description:


Private oncology practice of five physicians and two nurse practitioners, located in Westbrook and Middletown.


Responsible for ordering, stocking of IV medications and maintaining adequate supplies and medications needed for the infusion center. Maintains order and cleanliness in the drug preparation area and the infusion room. Accurately prepares IV products in an efficient manner according to guidelines and aseptic technique.

No Nights, weekends or holidays. Competitive salary and benefits for qualified individual. Must be willing to travel between our Middletown and Westbrook locations.

National Pharmacy Certification a plus. Minimum of two years experience in a practice pharmacy setting. Knowledge of computer system. Knowledge of daily infusion center operations pertaining to mixing and dispensing medications. Knowledge of common safety hazards and precaution to maintain a safe work environment. Skill in reading doctor/nurses orders and interpreting doses. Skill in mixing IV products accurately.

Prior oncology experience preferred.
