Full job description

GFL Environmental is seeking a Mechanic Lead to oversee maintenance and repair of our waste and recycling fleet. In this on-site role, you will perform advanced diagnostics, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, and ensure timely preventive maintenance on trucks and heavy equipment. You’ll lead and mentor mechanics, prioritize work orders, uphold safety and environmental standards, and coordinate with operations to minimize downtime, supporting reliable, sustainable service to our customers and communities.
