Full job description

The Facility Technician is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations, maintenance, and appearance of Class A, a multi-building corporate office campus located in El Segundo, California. This position plays a critical role in ensuring a safe, clean, efficient, and professional environment for tenants, visitors, and campus employees.

Shift: 7am to 4pm Monday - Friday

Payrate: $27.81hourly rate | Weekly pay

Location: El Segundo, Ca

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

-Perform routine inspections of campus buildings, common areas, mechanical rooms, restrooms, parking structures, and exterior grounds.

-Execute preventive maintenance tasks in accordance with established schedules.

-Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs involving lighting, plumbing fixtures, doors, locks, ceilings, flooring, furniture, and building finishes.

-Replace lamps, ballasts, lighting controls, and related components.

-Monitor the condition and operation of HVAC equipment and report deficiencies to building engineering staff.

-Assist with basic maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.

-Ensure building systems operate efficiently and support tenant comfort.

-Conduct safety inspections and identify potential hazards.

Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations, company policies, and property operating procedures.

-Follow all lockout/tagout and life-safety procedures.

Required Qualifications

-High school diploma or GED.

-Minimum of 2 years of facility maintenance, building operations, hospitality facilities, or commercial property experience.

-Experience working in commercial office buildings, campus environments, or corporate facilities preferred.

-Basic knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and electrical systems.

-Strong customer service and communication skills.

-Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining attention to detail.

-Proficiency with computers, mobile work-order systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
