What You Will Do
Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run January- July/August (including the Spring semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
- Provide Project Engineering support and ownership for Air Turbine Starter (ATS) and Gearbox product line
- Lead Root Cause & Corrective Action (RCCA) efforts to identify causes and mitigation plans for issues affecting pump program productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction
- Provide customer support for Field Failure investigations
- Resolve Supplier Requests for Information (SRIs) by providing clarifications and processing Change Requests (CRs)
- Manage piece part supplier transitions
- Pursue cost saving opportunities to maximize project profitability.
- Consolidate and present plans and progress reports relating to business aspects of the project.
- Support Quality investigations as necessary when piece-part issues affect product deliveries.
- Verify internal processes are being executed to reduce probability of engineering turn backs.
- Read and interpret drawings, provide mark ups, and coordinate drawing changes.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major and actively enrolled through the completion of the internship/co-op session.
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience using analytical and developmental software such as MATLAB, CAD, NX, and/or AutoCAD
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and/or PowerPoint)
- Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering Degree
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with mechanical hardware is preferred

The salary range for this role is 37,000 USD - 82,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
