Full job description

Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Valve Assembler to join their team. In this role, you will be part of the production department, supporting both the engineering and quality assurance teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and a willingness to learn. These qualities will contribute to success in this role and within the organization.

Job Title: Valve Assembler

Location: Orchard Park, NY

Pay Range: $19/hour

Shift: 7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday

What's the Job?

  • Assemble valves according to established procedures.
  • Set up and operate specialized test equipment for high-pressure valve products.
  • Conduct functional testing and accurately record results.
  • Compare test results to specifications and make necessary adjustments to meet order requirements.
  • Maintain and repair testing and shop equipment to ensure optimal performance.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2–3 years of experience in a manufacturing or testing environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and retrieval.
  • Strong attention to detail and procedural compliance.
