This major healthcare system operates a state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center that provides comprehensive surgical services to the community. The facility features an experienced anesthesia care team with over 40 CRNAs and 10 senior staff physicians, offering a collaborative and supportive work environment focused on high-quality patient care.
Opportunity:
Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - Anesthesia
Job Details:
• Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and develop individualized anesthesia care plans
• Administer anesthesia including general, regional, or monitored anesthesia care in collaboration with surgeons and healthcare providers
• Monitor patients during procedures and manage any anesthesia-related complications
• Provide post-anesthesia care and pain management services
• Maintain accurate documentation according to hospital policies and regulatory standards
• Potentially administer anesthesia to all ages and A.S.A. classes of patients, including geriatrics and pediatrics
• Provide airway management services as needed
• Travel to other ambulatory sites when necessary
• Handle a wide range of surgical cases including total hips and knees, plastic surgery, sports medicine, orthopedics, urology, GYN, ophthalmology, podiatry, dental, pediatrics, endoscopy, and general surgery
• Must be Board Certified CRNA with active Michigan RN License
• Requires ACLS and BLS certifications
• Minimum 2 years CRNA work experience required (not including RN or training)
• Must have clean malpractice/license history
• DEA and CSR/CDS must be obtained prior to start
• No on-call responsibilities
