Job Type: Full-time | Variable 12-hour shifts and 2 weekends per month with and major holidays.
Up to $20,000 bonus for eligible candidates

How you'll contribute
A Registered Nurse (RN) who excels in this role:
- Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.
- Documents patient care given.
- Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.
- Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
- Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs
- Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.
- Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.
- Floats to other departments as needed to maintain safe nurse-to-patient ratios

What we're looking for
Applicants should have a current state RN license and possess an associate's from an accredited nursing school. Additional requirements include:
- Two years of acute care experience or One year of cardiac unit experience or Greater than Six months current employment as RN in a Critical Care Unit
- BSN, MSN Preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Current ACLS certification, Basic Dysrhythmia Course, Critical Care Course or acquire within 6 months of employment.
- Trauma Nurse Course current or acquire within 1 year
- PALS certification current or acquire within 2 years.
- CCRN Preferred
