CDL-A Local Truck Driver | Port Runs | Home Daily | Up to $30/Hour
Home Daily | Monday-Friday | Day & Night Shifts Available | $27-$30/Hour

ProDrivers is hiring experienced CDL-A professionals for immediate Truck Driver opportunities in Torrance. If you're an experienced Truck Driver with port/container experience and a valid TWIC card, this is your chance to join a respected company offering steady work, great pay, and daily home time.

Truck Driver Pay & Schedule
  • Day Shift: 7:00 AM Start, $27/hour
  • Night Shift: 7:00 PM Start, $30/hour
  • Monday-Friday with occasional weekends
  • 40-60 hours per week
  • Home Daily
Truck Driver Responsibilities
  • Complete local port and container deliveries
  • Perform multiple drayage moves daily
  • Haul no-touch freight
  • Operate container chassis equipment
  • Operate EV and BEV tractors
  • Maintain DOT-compliant logs and inspections
  • Follow customer and port requirements
Truck Driver Requirements
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • 12+ months recent CDL-A experience
  • 12+ months recent port/container experience
  • Valid TWIC Card
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Safe driving record

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 12 months recent CDL-A driving experience
  • Minimum 12 months recent port/container experience
  • Valid TWIC Card required
  • Current DOT Medical Card
  • Safe driving record
  • Ability to operate container chassis equipment
Yard Driver Positions ($26-$28/hr)
  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Minimum 12 months CDL-A recent driving experience
  • Minimum 6 months yard driver/hostler recent experience
  • Ability to perform trailer inspections and yard safety checks
  • Ability to safely move dry van and container trailers in a busy yard environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Port, drayage, intermodal, container, or yard hostler experience
  • Strong safety record
  • Reliable attendance and work history
  • Ability to work independently and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
