Record Center Specialist

Our client, a leading organization in document management and storage solutions, is seeking a Record Center Specialist to join their team. As a Record Center Specialist, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting the Logistics and Records Management teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Record Center Specialist

Location: Urbandale, IA

Pay Range: $17.00

Shift: 7:30am - 4:00pm Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

• Process orders and move boxes of files, books, binders, backup tapes, and other materials.
• Manually lift, carry, and load boxes ranging from 10 to 100 lbs without assistance.
• Use proprietary computer systems to track and locate boxes efficiently.
• Operate hand trucks, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Load and shrink-wrap pallets at ground level or on carts for transportation.

What's Needed?

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including kneeling, squatting, reaching, and bending.
• Capability to lift and carry heavy boxes regularly without assistance.
• Proficiency in reading and writing in English.
• Comfortable working on uneven and concrete surfaces.
• Experience operating material handling aids such as hand carts and pallet jacks is preferred but not required.
