Adult Endocrinologist
UPMC Central Pa | South Central Pennsylvania
Position Highlights
Practice Focus:
Comprehensive outpatient endocrinology practice specializing in diabetes, thyroid disease, pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, and menopause management
Outpatient Lifestyle:
Primarily outpatient practice with consultative support for inpatient endocrine care
Diabetes Program:
Robust diabetes management program with support for insulin pumps, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), and diabetes education
Advanced Thyroid Care:
In-office thyroid ultrasound and biopsy capabilities
Academic & Research Growth:
Opportunities to participate in future clinical research initiatives

Opportunity
Join a growing endocrinology team within UPMC Central Pa and play an integral role in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care across the region.
Responsibilities include:
Diagnosing and managing a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders in the outpatient setting
Providing consultative support and guidance to the inpatient endocrine nurse practitioner team
Caring for patients with diabetes utilizing advanced technologies, including insulin pumps and CGM devices
Participating in the development and expansion of advanced thyroid services, including office-based ultrasound and biopsy procedures
Collaborating with a dedicated infusion center for endocrine testing and treatment
Supporting osteoporosis management and fracture prevention initiatives
Contributing to future clinical research opportunities and program development
