What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control practices, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and other critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned interior and exterior areas, including parking areas, entry points, and perimeter locations, while maintaining awareness of unusual activity.
- Assist with access management by checking credentials, monitoring entry and exit activity, and directing authorized individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site policies.
- Complete required activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns to appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPO is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Armed Guard Card is required.
- Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military and/or college degree in criminal justice.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
