Respiratory Unit - Respiratory Therapist - $2430 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 3 years of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

• Trauma Level 1 experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <90 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required for submission. Medical declinations accepted.

• Staff, Part-Time, and Per Diem employees currently working at a facility in this program cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: NICU/PICU and cardiothoracic experience preferred.

Required Credentials: NRP is required for NICU assignments.

Special Requests: Travel pairs are not accepted.

Unit Details: RRT coverage spans the entire facility, with assignments varying daily. Patient ratios are 1:25 for acute patients and 1:8 for critical patients. Ventilators include Dräger V500 and VN500, Hamilton T1 and C1, Respironics V30 and V60, Trilogy line, Airvo, and Vapotherm.

Shift & Scheduling: Shift options include 7:00 AM-7:30 PM and 7:00 PM-7:30 AM. On-call coverage is required for 2 hours for the oncoming shift.

Floating Requirements: Float as an RRT to some NICU/PICU; acute-care pediatrics and ED experience are required, as well as adult acute and critical-care experience.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead/Supervisor reference required from within the last 2 years

1 Manager reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required for submission
