Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $3190 per week.

Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Wisconsin license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <50 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience: Able to interpret heart rhythms/tele monitoring.

Required Credentials: Ascension EKG Exam required during onboarding; minimum passing score of at least 80% with only two attempts permitted. Ascension Specialty Exam required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed. Ascension Core Competencies required during onboarding; minimum 80% or the national benchmark passing score that demonstrates competency in the area of specialization; only 2 attempts allowed. Driver’s license is required for RN/LPN/PTs working on a compact license. Ascension Health does not accept vaccine/Tdap declinations.

Special Requests: Current Ascension employees cannot apply for travel roles. Candidates must have employment separation for at least 6 months to be considered for a travel position. To receive the travel rate, the clinician’s claimed residence must match the address on the driver’s license.

Shift & Scheduling: Every other weekend. Every other holiday.

Floating Requirements: May need to float onsite within skill set or to sites within 40 miles if needed.

5 days maximum time off
