Full job description
The work:
We are seeking a mid-level DevSecOps Engineer who will maintain multiple client-managed cloud application stacks (Tomcat, Drupal, React, Node.js, Nginx, etc.) running as Linux containers on Amazon ECS clusters and support the IaC (AWS Cloudformation) and functional CI/CD Gitlab runner pipelines. Should have a foundational multi-tier architectural knowledge, deployment, and maintenance, and a have foundational knowledge of AWS cloud engineering. This role requires experience in building and supporting container applications running Apache Tomcat, Nginx, Drupal, and Node.js, supporting the remediation of security vulnerabilities, supporting and managing PKI certs, and basic REST and SOAP API integration experience.
Here's what you need:
- Active Top Secret clearance required and onsite in Washington, DC
- AWS Cloud engineering skills with ECS and/or EKS experience
- Build and maintain Linux-based Docker Containers
- 4+ years' experience working with CI/CD pipelines such as GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar tools
- Experience with SSL/TLS certificate and PKI management
- Experience with AI Code Assist (Claude Code, Codex, etc.)
- Developing and maintaining IaC using Cloudformation
- Experience with the following:
- Tomcat, Drupal, Nginx
- Node.js administration and deployment
- Git, Linux
- Ability to read application and system logs and perform basic troubleshooting
- REST and SOAP API Integration experience
- Basic scripting experience with Bash, Python, or PowerShell
- Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL Claude
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
- AWS Solution Architect Associate Certification

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
