Division: Affordable Housing – Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH)
Status: Exempt
Reports to: Director of Supportive Services
Supervises: Housing Stabilization Specialists
Travel: Up to 50%
About the Role
The Housing Stabilization Supervisor provides leadership and oversight of National Church Residences’ PSH Housing Stabilization Program. This role supervises Housing Stabilization Specialists and ensures residents receive high-quality, person-centered services that promote housing retention, successful tenancy, and long-term stability.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, coach, mentor, and develop Housing Stabilization Specialists.
Monitor caseloads, documentation, service quality, and resident outcomes.
Oversee housing stabilization and eviction-prevention efforts.
Guide staff in addressing complex tenancy concerns, lease compliance, and housing barriers.
Support Housing Retention Plans, home visits, wellness checks, and resident engagement.
Partner with Property Management, Case Management, Clinical Services, and community providers.
Monitor program performance, housing retention, and compliance metrics.
Support quality improvement, program development, audits, and grant reporting.
Ensure compliance with HUD, HIPAA, Housing First principles, and applicable regulations.
Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Human Services or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in PSH, homelessness services, affordable housing, behavioral health, case management, housing stabilization, or a related field.
At least 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
Experience collaborating with Property Management and interdisciplinary teams.
Knowledge of Housing First, trauma-informed care, conflict resolution, eviction prevention, and housing retention.
Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver’s license. Chemical Dependency licensure preferred.
