Controls Engineer

Our client is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. The Controls Engineer designs electrical control systems for industrial equipment along with testing and commissioning these systems.

Location: Plano, TX

What’s the Job?

• Evaluates electrical systems, products, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs; applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
• Confirms system’s and components’ capabilities by designing testing methods; testing properties.
• Develops electrical products by studying customer requirements; researching and testing manufacturing and assembly methods and materials.
• Provide panel layouts in AutoCAD or AutoCAD Electrical.

What’s Needed?

• 4+ years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in a manufacturing or plant setting.
• Knowledge of essential software/hardware, such as, Autocad, Rockwell Studio 5000 and Factory Talk Studio, Powerflex 525 drives, Allen-Bradley PLCs, etc.
