Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will engage in a variety of essential tasks that directly contribute to the health and progress of our patients:

  • Deliver individualized therapeutic exercises and functional activities per the treatment plans established by Physical Therapists, ensuring clarity and understanding of each patient’s unique needs.
  • Utilize advanced modalities such as ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and cryotherapy to alleviate pain and enhance the recovery process, continually assessing their effectiveness in each patient’s treatment.
  • Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting responses to treatment using our electronic health record (EHR) system, and adjusting care as necessary in collaboration with the supervising PT.
  • Engage actively with patients and their families, providing education on home exercise programs and self-management techniques that will support continued health outside of the clinical setting.
  • Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient outcomes, share insights, and strategize interdisciplinary approaches to treatment.
  • Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory, accreditation, and clinic standards, exhibiting attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a diverse patient population, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and other musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

While two years of experience as a PTA is required, candidates with previous exposure to orthopedic outpatient or rehabilitation settings will be highly regarded.
