Food Quality Control Supervisor

Our client, a growing food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Food Quality Control Supervisor to join their team. As a Food Quality Control Supervisor, you will be part of the Quality Assurance team supporting production, food safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, leadership ability, and problem-solving skills that will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Food Quality Control Supervisor
Location: Barron County, WI
Pay Range: $60,000 - $65,000 + 5% annual bonus eligibility

What's the Job?

• Supervise daily quality control activities within a food manufacturing facility, ensuring products meet food safety and quality standards.
• Monitor compliance with HACCP, GMP, SQF/BRC, and other food safety programs while supporting internal and external audits.
• Lead investigations into quality issues, non-conformances, and corrective actions to maintain product integrity.
• Train, coach, and support QC team members while partnering with production and maintenance teams to reduce defects and waste.
• Review quality records, testing results, Certificates of Analysis (COAs), and hold-and-release processes to ensure regulatory compliance.

• Experience in food manufacturing quality assurance or quality control; cheese manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, food safety regulations, and quality systems.
• Experience supporting FDA, USDA, SQF, BRC, or other food safety audits.
• Leadership experience as a Supervisor, Lead, QA Lead, Food Safety Coordinator, or similar role preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field preferred; equivalent industry experience will be considered.

• First-shift schedule, Monday-Friday, approximately 7:00 AM-3:00 PM with flexibility in start and end times.
