About the Clinician's Workday

The neurosurgeon will provide 24-hour call coverage for neurological surgery services at this on-site inpatient Level I Trauma Center, covering 7 nights per month scheduled as either every other day or 7 consecutive nights inclusive of weekends. Primary responsibilities include responding to neurosurgical consultations, managing spine and cranial surgical cases, and performing approximately 1 surgery per night with a maximum of 10 consults per shift. The clinician will utilize EPIC EMR for all clinical documentation throughout assigned coverage periods. APP support is available to assist during call assignments.
