Residential Service Electrician

Support from an experienced HVAC, plumbing, drain, and electrical team
What You’ll Do
-
Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential electrical systems.
-
Install and replace panels, breakers, circuits, outlets, switches, lighting, ceiling fans, and related components.
-
Complete service upgrades, wiring repairs, dedicated circuits, and electrical system improvements.
-
Install EV chargers, generators, surge protection, smoke detectors, and other residential electrical equipment.
-
Perform electrical safety inspections and identify code, safety, and performance concerns.
-
Clearly explain findings and recommend appropriate repair or replacement options.
-
Obtain customer authorization before beginning work and collect payment when appropriate.
-
Complete accurate estimates, service notes, photos, and required documentation.
-
Protect customers’ homes and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
-
Maintain assigned vehicle inventory, tools, equipment, and materials.
-
Coordinate with customer service, dispatch, and other field teams.
-
Participate in ongoing technical, safety, sales, and customer service training.
What We’re Looking For
-
Previous residential electrical service and repair experience.
-
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
-
Knowledge of residential wiring methods, electrical systems, and the National Electrical Code.

Ability to independently manage service calls from diagnosis through completion.

Strong communication, presentation, and customer service skills.
-
Ability to explain technical findings and available options clearly to homeowners.
-
Comfortable recommending appropriate solutions based on customer needs.
-
Commitment to safe, code-compliant, and high-quality workmanship.
-
Maryland Journeyman or Master Electrician license preferred.
-
Comfortable using tablets, mobile applications, and field service software.
-
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
-
Ability to perform physical work in attics, basements, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions.
