Weekend call coverage -- Fridays 7am to Mondays 7am
Avg 4 patients seen, 4 admissions, and 4 phone consults per 24 hrs
Hospital-based general surgery call coverage
Beeper call -- in person response within 45 minutes required
Laparoscopic appendectomy, cholecystectomy, hernioplasty required
GI endoscopy highly preferred -- upper, lower, colonoscopy
Vascular surgery, breast surgery, and hand surgery skills needed
Board certified candidates only
Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
Assignment details and time entry in online portal
