NVIDIA is searching for a world-class generative AI intern to join the Fundamental Generative AI research team at NVIDIA Research. We are passionate about research that pushes boundaries and builds the next generation of generative models but also has an impact in the real world. We are particularly interested in advancing fundamental generative AI methods for image, video, 3D, graph, and multimodal data. We are also actively pushing toward emerging gen AI for science applications such as structural biology, chemistry, drug discovery, climate modeling, and weather forecasting. You will work within an amazing and collaborative research team that consistently publishes at the top venues in machine learning. You will be empowered to make contributions that create real-world impact.
What you'll be doing:
Research, design, and implement novel, large-scale generative AI methods.
Publish original research.
Collaborate with other team members, research teams, as well as product teams.
Transfer technology to product groups.
What we need to see:
Pursuing a Ph.D. program in Computer Science/Engineering, Statistics, Electrical Engineering, etc.
Strong publication record at top ML venues such as NeurIPS, CVPR, ICLR, ICML, ICCV, ECCV, etc.
Excellent knowledge of the theory and practice of generative AI.
Strong knowledge of computer vision, 3D, NLP, or AI for science.
Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environments such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus.
Knowledge of common deep learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.
Excellent communication skills.

Our internship hourly rates are a standard pay based on the position, your location, year in school, degree, and experience. The hourly rate for our interns is 38 USD - 94 USD.
You will also be eligible for Intern benefits.
