Full job description

Our client is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician - Any shift to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician - Any shift, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic/Electrician - Any shift

Location: GRAND RAPIDS, MI

Pay Range: Dependent on Experience

Shift: 1st, 2nd or 3rd

What's the Job?

  • Perform preventative maintenance on plant equipment, building, and production machines
  • Rebuild small components, hydraulic, robots, and pneumatic pumps as needed
  • Install small components and assist in the installation of new equipment
  • Operate support equipment such as air compressors and cooling towers
  • Monitor waste treatment systems and perform repairs when necessary
  • Some electrical work

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • One to two years of technical training or industrial maintenance experience preferred. Entry Level
  • Basic understanding of control prints for hydraulic and pneumatic machinery
  • Ability to use calipers, micrometers, and basic tools
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
