Full job description

Our client, a manufacturing industry leader, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting plant operations. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Location: Williamsburg, MI

Pay Range: $27-31/hr based on experience.

Shifts:
1st: 7:00am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday
2nd: 3:00pm - 11:30pm Monday-Friday
3rd: 11:00pm - 7:30pm Monday-Friday

What's the Job?

  • Survey buildings and report necessary repairs or updates to existing systems / structures to maintain health and safety standards
  • Pull and check fuses, knowing proper size in circuit
  • Clean and inspect molds for damage, perform routine maintenance on molds
  • Perform basic maintenance functions through a preventative maintenance system such as filter changing and replacement, oil changes, cleaning and greasing of equipment, etc.
  • Perform maintenance of electrical 3-phase motors

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
  • Strong understanding of electrical (480 to 12v), hydraulic, and other systems
  • Experience with multi-meter use
  • Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
