Job Summary and Qualifications

  • Performing and documenting quality assurance procedures on cameras, equipment in the hot lab and any other equipment. QC to be performed on daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, biannual, and annual intervals.
  • Proper use of all equipment in the department.
  • Performing, processing, and completing all procedures from start to finish. Including documenting necessary information required for interpretation by the radiologist/cardiologist.
  • High-level customer service with all patients/family members/employees/physicians and other visitors in the department and hospital. Including proper phone etiquette.
  • Explaining all procedures to patients and family members in a complete and understandable manner, answer all questions that the patient or family members have.


What qualifications you will need:

  • EXPERIENCE


    Required – Clinical rotations in Nuclear Medicine during education program.


    Preferred – One year of hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine with exposure to PET



    EDUCATION


    Required - Completion of accredited Nuclear Medicine program and certification from the NMTCB or


    ARRT.



    CERTIFICATION


    Required - NMTCB or ARRT.


    Required – Basic Life Support from American Heart Association or American Red Cross within 30 Days of hire.
