Manufacturing Technician – Texas

Manufacturing Technician Benefits & Compensation

Manufacturing Technician Requirements & Qualifications


  • 3–5 years of experience in cable and harness assembly
  • Experience with mechanical assembly and electronics
  • Ability to read and interpret wiring schematics, customer drawings, part data sheets, and assembly drawings
  • Proven skill in converting engineering drawings into assembled products


Manufacturing Technician Day-to-Day Responsibilities


  • Assemble production custom cables and harnesses according to specifications
  • Build custom electro-mechanical systems as required for cable and harness projects
  • Interpret customer product drawings to create production-ready parts
  • Track all inventoried items relevant to assigned projects
  • Conduct quality control inspections on both production and custom electro-mechanical systems
  • Troubleshoot wiring, electronic issues, and components—including continuity testing—across production and custom builds
