What You'll Be Doing

  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair quarry mobile equipment, including haul trucks, loaders, excavators, and support equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and safety.
  • Inspect mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems to identify and resolve issues quickly.
  • Complete maintenance records, inspections, and work orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to support production goals and minimize equipment downtime.

What Are We Looking For

  • Strong capability to diagnose and repair heavy mobile equipment and related systems.
  • Working knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, powertrains, and mobile equipment components.
  • Ability to interpret service manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools to perform effective repairs.
  • Commitment to safe work practices, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills in a dynamic quarry environment.

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check.
  • Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing.

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
