POSITION: Temp Associate Manager, Logistics
REPORTS TO: Senior Manager, Logistics
LOCATION: Kendo Corporate Office – NJ (Hybrid)

The salary range for this temp position is $35.00 - $45.00 per hour. Offered salary is dependent upon experience and New Jersey location. This is a hybrid role based in our Monroe Township office – Tues through Thursday in-office, with Monday and Friday remote.
The Kendo house of brands currently includes: Fenty Beauty, Fenty Skin, Fenty Eau de Parfum, Fenty Hair, Ole Henriksen, Lip Lab.
SUMMARY
Responsible for the management of freight forwarders, transportation carriers and distribution center partnerships and processes to provide optimal flexibility and velocity for all domestic and international channels. This position drives successful execution of key supply chain flows and initiatives through detailed business analysis and strong management methodologies.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop, own and manage processes to meet Kendo’s logistics and transportation needs - domestic and international
- Design, g ene r ate and maintain data sets and metrics to measure success
- Partner with DC operations and vendors to optimize and manage operating practices and ensure optimal service
- Create, communicate and monitor allocation and delivery calendars to maintain effective inbound and outbound flows
- Drive successful implementation of key initiatives including: Defining goals, scope, and timelines; determining implementation options; leading any needed vendor selection/RFP/onboarding processes; driving scope recommendations and prioritizations; partnering with internal teams to ensure successful delivery
- Develop strong partnerships with multiple business leaders and teams, gain understanding of business processes, tools and technology and identify areas of optimization or changes which will provide measurable cost-savings or which are needed to support proposed growth
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years experience in program/logistics/distribution/fulfillment management
- Experience working with freight forwarders and outsourced logistics providers
- General knowledge of US import and export shipment documentation requirements and processes
- College degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent technical skills – MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Strong analytical skills; ability to identify data anomalies
- System integration experience
- Effective relationship-building skills, ability to cultivate strong partnerships across teams
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal with both domestic and global partners.
- Exceptional organizational skills; detail-oriented
- Strong time management skills; ability to juggle priorities
- Can-do positive attitude and a roll-up-your-sleeves approach
- Ability to work independently; self-starter with an eye for process improvement
- Flexible mind-set; able to pivot and make sound decisions based on current environmental factors.
