Maintenance Mechanic

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial services, is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Grand Prairie, TX

Pay Range: $30- $38hr

Shift: 3rd shift -11:00 PM - 7:30 AM

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal operation.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanical systems to identify malfunctions.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and control logic diagrams to understand complex equipment.
• Install, replace, and repair parts and attachments according to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to assemble, dismantle, and rig machinery safely and efficiently.

What's Needed?

• Associates degree in a related field plus 3 years of industrial maintenance experience or 5 years of industrial maintenance work with electrical controls emphasis.
• Experience working with 480V / 3-phase electrical systems preferred.
• Electrical qualification to work in control panels is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of shop math, blueprint reading, PLC, control logic, and mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and welding concepts.
• Ability to troubleshoot using mechanical, electrical, and measuring tools, and intermediate computer skills.
