What You Will Do
- Assemble, install, test, inspect, and rework electrical and mechanical components, subassemblies, and finished products.
- Follow work instructions, test procedures, and quality documentation to accurately complete production tasks.
- Meet production schedules, build rates, and cycle time requirements.
- Monitor inventory needs and communicate material shortages for your work area.
- Use computers and manufacturing systems to access documentation and complete required transactions.
- Participate in achieving team performance goals and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain accurate production, quality, and compliance records.
- Perform 6S activities and contribute to a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
- Support continuous improvement, safety initiatives, preventative maintenance programs, and operational excellence efforts.
- Package products and prepare shipments according to customer, domestic, and international specifications.
- Take ownership of work preparation, equipment setup, cleanup, and quality of finished products.
- Collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive, respectful workplace culture.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What You Will Need
Minimum Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, crouch, and move throughout the workday.
- Ability to work with small parts and perform repetitive assembly tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and visual acuity for inspecting products and identifying quality issues.
- Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, pneumatic tools, testing equipment, measuring devices, and other manufacturing equipment.
- Ability to wear required PPE and comply with all safety requirements.
- Ability to hear and respond to safety alarms, announcements, and instructions.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
