Trusted is seeking an experienced nurse for this exciting travel nursing assignment. Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 12 months of Medical Surgical Oncology experience with 12 months worked in the last 3 years.

• Travel experience is required.

• Experience with Meditech is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Georgia license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >75 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• 12 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney and no current placement allowed at Program: Medical Solutions Plus Program - Phoebe Putney.

Additional Details:

References: At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to.

Required Skills/Experience: Minimum 1 years in specialty with 1 travel assignment.

Required Credentials: - ONS needed if doing chemo.

Special Requests: 75 mile radius from the traveler’s driver’s license to the facility.

Unit Details: Charge nurse is out of the staffing grid unless unusual circumstances. Telemetry with central monitoring; not required to read strips. Common diagnoses/patient population: acute oncology symptoms, thrombocytopenia, neutropenia, sickle cell crisis, hematology, medical overflow, oncology, end-of-life care. Travelers will work on the floor; outpatient area patients may come to the floor to finish treatment if running late and the outpatient area closes.

Shift & Scheduling: Shifts: 6:45-7:15. Every other weekend. Holidays rotate with staff.

Floating Requirements: Rarely floats to medical acute.

14 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 12 months

Driver’s license required for submission
