Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse- $1970 per week.

Shift: 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 2 years of Medical Surgical Unit experience.

• 12 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Virginia license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >60 miles from facility to be submitted.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• Flu vaccination required after submission. Religious, medical, and personal declinations accepted.

• Anyone currently working at this facility cannot be submitted.

Additional Details:

Preferred Skills/Experience: Teaching hospital experience preferred. Charge experience preferred.

Required Credentials: Required certifications and licensure cannot expire within 30 days of the potential start date to apply.

Special Requests: RTO is limited. All RTO must be included in the submission packet at the time of submission.

Unit Details: The assignment is on the Med-Surg DRMU (Diabetic Renal Unit). Charge RN duties are required for this assignment; training will be provided. The assignment involves frequent interaction with students and new hires; travelers are expected to support them.

Shift & Scheduling: Must be flexible to meet the unit’s scheduling needs. Assignments end on Saturdays. Work 2/3 weekends per month based on unit need. Must work at least one major holiday (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, and/or New Year’s Day).
