About The Opportunity

The Procurement Intern will support the Procurement team across sourcing, supplier management, spend analysis, and operational activities. This role provides hands-on exposure to the procurement lifecycle and offers the opportunity to work with cross-functional stakeholders while developing analytical, commercial, and project management skills.

The Impact You Will Make

  • Support procurement and sourcing projects, including market research, supplier identification, competitive analysis, and RFP/RFQ activities.

  • Assist with collecting and analyzing spend, supplier, pricing, and contract data to identify trends and potential cost-saving opportunities.

  • Support supplier negotiations by preparing pricing comparisons, benchmarks, historical spend information, and other relevant analysis.

  • Maintain procurement trackers, supplier information, contract records, and reporting dashboards.

  • Assist with supplier onboarding, purchase requests, renewals, and other procurement processes.

  • Work with Procurement team members to identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, cost optimization, and process improvement.

  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, IT, and business teams to support procurement initiatives.

  • Help prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for procurement projects and leadership reviews.

  • Conduct ad hoc research and analysis to support category strategies and business decisions.

What You Bring to the Table

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics, Data Analytics, or a related field.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets; experience working with data is preferred.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Ability to organize and manage multiple assignments and deadlines.

  • Comfortable working collaboratively with different teams and stakeholders.

  • Interest in procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, finance, or vendor management.

  • Previous internship or professional experience is helpful but not required.

As a matter of company policy, Wonder does not sponsor applicants for employment visa status for this role.

Our hybrid model requires 3 days a week in the office. That said, many team members choose to come in more often to take advantage of in-person collaboration and connection. You're welcome—and encouraged—to be in the office up to 5 days a week if it works for you.

New York: $36.00 per hour.
